As many of you know einstein has been dealing with glaucoma and cataracts,
in addition to an inner ear/balance issue along with a large benign
tumor/cyst removal. He will be 10 in january. I can't say enough about
petplan insurance. Last year my premium was around $750/yr for a non
wellness checkup plan that had a $200. deductible per illness. They refund
back 80% if you use a specialist and 100% if it is your regular vet. They
exclude meds on the plan i have. The cap is $8000/ yr per illness. They
have refunded at least $6000 to me each year for einstein's eye issues.
They just renewed my policy again and only raised me $178. per
year.......under the circumstances so well worth it. They do not drop your
pet when they are old. They are nice to deal with over the phone, pay back
within 2 weeks and have easy paperwork. For anyone considering insurance,
check them out, they give free quotes which vary on where you live. If you
sign up, mention my name !!! Love these guys, and although my plan
doesn't include dental einstein also needed some dental work for
gingivitis. They told me to submit and they partially paid a refund
towards the cleaning . Nancy Cohen, einstein and dixie
