[Dailydrool] So many trips to the Bridge

We send gallons of drool to all who have had to help their pups make the
journey to the Bridge: Lovely Lucy, Vernon Q, Ben, the foursome at Chris's,
Deuce, and so many, many others.  We hope, with time, that the good memories
will replace the sadness that is so present now, and perhaps one day, some
new memories can be made with another of these low-slung wonders we all love
so much.

 

On a brighter note, I loved the "names" discussion, and got a particular
chuckle out of the dogs named after liquor - the image of someone standing
on the sand yelling "Cuervo" down the beach was a riot!  I know what strange
looks one can receive when calling a dog with an unusual name, as our two
are Twinkletoes and Hooter...a name you need to yell with some discretion!
As I'm quick to point out, it's singular..(he's actually named for a canine
character in a Scottish children's book from my husband's childhood).
