i have given my dogs a heaping tabsp of PLAIN punpkin daily and  never had 
an anal problem with any of the dogs...my vetinarians over the years  have 
said they don't know why this works, but it does, and my dogs, of varied  
breed, are testimony to  this...rgeyer5165 at aol
