[Dailydrool] What's in a Name?

​I am curious how people name their dogs.
Mr.Biskit has named all the Bassets with real family names from his side of
the family--Lewis Lewis, Ensign Mitchell, Welcome Walker, --Zelda was what
he called our daughter when she was still wearing onesies. I named Nigel.

Do you name the dog for a person you knew or liked, or do you wait and name
the dog after something you see in the dog?

(I once named a dog after a fictional spy, hoping he would have some of the
same self-confidence. He didn't.)

Does the name fit the dog or does the dog grow to fit the name?
