I know something about Veterinary Medicine but nothing about behavior and
we have a problem with Conley that is becoming a serious problem.
I will say right now that the first order of business is a complete
physical with bloodwork and especially a full panel thyroid. I will also
request a prostate check because intact males do sometimes develop problems
even when they are not breeding.

Conley has become increasingly unpredictable. Today while I was gone he
attacked Llewis, who was not near him, was in fact coming down the little
stairs from the bed which is difficult for him. There was no food present
and Llewis was not looking at Conley when Conley growled and then launched.
This is the second time he has attacked Llewis. His attacks on Doc are well
known altho in fairness, Doc sometimes deserves it.

Neither dog is getting enough exercise and I will also try to increase
walks altho with my knee it may not yet be possible.

Does anyone have any ideas aside from separating the dogs forever. Once
Llewis is gone it will be just Doc and Conley and I am very concerned. They
have both drawn blood altho serious injury has been avoided.

MomPerson, now concerned about Conley, too.
