[Dailydrool] Drool request

Our Holly went in for an ultrasound today. She needed to have a clean 
urine draw, so at the same time the vet had a look around. She found the 
usual stuff for a Cushing's hound and a little something extra that I 
was not expecting--an adrenal tumor.


The advice we got was not to treat it in any way. Holly is nearly 
fifteen, and with all her health issues....


As if she knew even before the diagnosis, Holly did not eat breakfast. I 
thought it was because I let Dex into her kitchen too soon, but perhaps 
not. Tonight all she wanted to eat was potato. Because she is allergic 
to so many things, trying to feed her a diet that helps her and doesn't 
make her itch will be a full-time job. She is also panting, which I 
understand may be related to the cancer.


Holly walked into our home and pushed top-dog Jane off her throne. She 
is bossy, especially to blind Dexter. But to humans she is very sweet. 
The vet cannot predict how long we will have her, but I'd like it to be 
longer rather than shorter. Drool and prayers would be much appreciated.


I wasn't expecting this. She's been having trouble walking, but we 
diagnosed her with a fused spine just two weeks ago, and I thought we 
had a plan to help her. Now I'm not sure what the future will hold.
