Note to Terry Medlin who wrote about lawn chemicals:  NO MORE chemicals for me!  There are lawn
companies that use only non-toxic, natural fertilizers.  I had 2 beautiful bassets die of lymphoma (ages 8 and 9).
I asked the tech at the vet oncology place ‘how in the world can a dog get cancer?).  She said succinctly,
“lawn chemicals”.
