After investing more man hours than I care to admit, it might be a little late to ask your opinion about doggie doo septic systems - specifically the Doggie Dooley.
I offer the following with regard to my situation.  I am 36" down in the dirt with another 12" to go before my hole is complete.  My soil is rich and dark, no clay.   I am a very diligent poo-picker-upper, every day the yard is cleaned up - no massive pick up day.  I have two large dogs, but at least one poop/day is taken outside the yard.  My "A" type personality insures the appropriate steps will be followed with regard to operation.  I do live in Colorado,  so from November to March, I do not expect it to be using it.
The last thing I want is a large galvanized bucket of poop sitting in my yard.  Any opinions on how these things work?   If your opinion is to the negative, did you read the manual and follow the instructions?  What specifically were the issues?  If your opinion is positive,  is it better for me to start next Spring or can I start now?
Thanks for all your opinions.
