 Greetings from LuLu,
Well I was surprised to hear from Mariah that her mother had hired a non basset girl dog to put rule the roost.  Shocking actually but just so she restrains herself to the necessary konking here and there I suppose it makes sense, what with bassets being so hard to come by in Hawaii and Mariah being as much of a dickens as our very own Gracie from the sound of things.
We had houseguests over the weekend, cousins from Oregon apparently.  I don't like most people, the clueless momPerson claims I hate everyone which is patently untrue but what do you expect, the woman is clueless. I hate MOST people, and I only bite sometimes.  I LOVE Grandma.  And my sisters and my momPerson and dadPerson and my fellow Rutz hounds.  As it turns out I even love the Oregon cousins ..... I cuddled them, I wagged at them, I got out of bed this morning and pranced down the hall to say my goodbyes to them, offering big wags and soft snooter kisses.  I was positively charming and didn't bite anyone all weekend.  So there.
Snoopy is still wearing his collar off and on, the boy had eye surgery and won't leave his eye alone so either he is under direct supervision or he wears the collar.  Stitches comes out by Friday, thank goodness.  Gracie has faked an illness ..... anxiety she claims ..... and is currently on Xanax every evening taking a pill an hour before sunset.  She has a substance abuse problem, lets face it, the girl can't have her teeth cleaned without being loaded for the whole week after ..... she's a real piece of work .... that one .... last night what with the guests and all momPerson clean forgot and Gracie was fine .... I SWEAR she's faking .... girl likes a good buzz ..... I'm telling you!
Drool is going out to my Auntie Sandi person on the loss of sweet Lena and Bailey and her mom for a full recovery after back surgery and everyone out there with sick houndies or one who's recently left for the bridge.  I have plenty.
