I am so sorry to read about Dice.   I hope he has a lot more time with you!
One thing I know of cancer,  it strikes anywhere, anytime, any age.  
No rhyme or reason, that can make any sense to us.
My prayers are with you all and the Bounders will be sending their drool for
Dice.
