[Dailydrool] foster failures

 I fostered a ton of bassets for mid atlantic and before that a few for tri-state.  even before that for an English setter rescue.  never had a problem with foster failure.  ever.
until, buster brown .  he who was an emergency foster. unadoptable.   I met Suzanne fitch in a parking lot about 25 minutes from my house. she opened her tailgate and there he stood..this grinning, little full of himself, basset boy.  I fell hard and fast that day in like 15 seconds.  I failed parking lot transfer.  before I was 10 minutes out of the lot I called her and gave him his new name.  when I got home I called my friend and said stay at the dog park I want ot show you something & she says to this day one of her fondest memories is of the 2 of us walking into the dog park grinning like fools.
yep.  parking lot failure.  he was a demon, wild child...and oh boy do I miss him!  such spirit....the kind of dog that lives on in stories...never did it happen again.  I fell for no one...our bond was amazing....ah buster brown basset hound...making folks crazy at the buffet now!  with me from 4/1/2007 -4/1/2016   .
