[Dailydrool] Easter adventure

Yesterday was Easter, but there were no bunnies romping through our yard,
leaving eggs in hidden places for us to find. Nosiree. I didn't wake up to
a basket filled with goodies. Nosiree. There wasn't even an afternoon feast
for me to beg from. Nosiree.

We woke up and it was raining. My food bowl was filled with the standard
kibble and bits for breakfast. Just like any old day, not special
Easterday. And by bits, I mean ground hamburger and shredded cheddar
cheese. Poor me, that's what I always get!

But the one thing I did get was a forest adventure. Since it was raining,
the sheslave took us to the community forest so we'd have a bit of shelter.
Only one other person was there so she took us off leash. Rupert and I were
able to run around amongst the redwood trees, climbing hills and chasing
eachother back down them. We stomped through a waterfall and sniffed slugs.
We even got to play tag with a 10-month old bull terrier who was also off
leash in the forest.

Then we went home and slept. And slept. And slept. Ate our kibble and bits
for dinner and then slept some more.

Hope everyone else had a great day!
