[Dailydrool] Crazy Paisley

I wrote a week or so ago about getting more involved in the DD since members where hoping for more bassety stories like the old times. Just about the time I wrote last week my best friend was diagnosed with AML leukemia and almost didn’t make it. Now we are looking at a bone marrow transplant and a long road, so all drool is appreciated. Needless to say I have been spending lots of time at the hospital. So how is my crazy little basset girl, pretty crazy. This morning after she came into into the bedroom I woke up to that wonderful retching sound. She proceeded to puke up pieces of my new plant I just put in the flower bed. Guess she didn’t like the agapanthus, it sure didn’t like her. Not toxic, just not her cup of tea. Our old basset could graze the yard without issues. The plant is a little smaller but should survive. So Paisley finished the retching and puking and then demanded breakfast. That stayed down just fine. Now on to the basset 500 with our lab. This consists of the normal running in and out the dog door around the yard, but now we’ve decided the flower bed is just perfect for running in really small circles. She pretty much trampled everything, so proud of herself. Guess I will be buying some fencing to keep her out, hope it works, she is quite the jumper and acrobat. I wonder what new way she will think of next to torment me. I do believe that Paisley and Merta Lou would be great friends and would find lots of things to get into.
