[Dailydrool] What does a basset look like?

When our dog pound lists dogs for adoption, staff take a guess at what mix of breeds the dog might be and write the guess under the dog’s photo.  well, recently there was a basset mix at one of our pounds (we have her in rescue now).  The little girl looks just like a tricolor basset with of short ears.  She is probably 75+ per cent basset.  apparently the staff at the pound has never seen a basset.  
so what breed mix did they guess?  Corgi-Pointer.  I can see it, can you?  Val of Hawaii
