[Dailydrool] Remembering

Bev has a great point here.

My first basset Edsel was a true love, he loved seeing anyone out walking in the neighborhood, he was so kind and gentle. My father walked him for many years, it did them both good. He was so noticed and liked by people, even 5-6 years after he left for the bridge at 11, people were asking my father and mother when they were out walking about him. They knew his name, but, like many neighborhoods now, not ours.

It is always nice to have people ask about them. When I took Bosley in to the vet for his final trip, they were emotional as well. Even though Bosley was a handful and not always nice to deal with a lot of the time.

Drool to all those in need!
