[Dailydrool] Hurricane update

Thank you to all who have written to check on us.  hurricane Lane has now left the environs of our island (Big Island of Hawaii) and is moving north up the island chain.  My family is fine.  There was a  lot of flooding on the east (Hilo) side of this island, but the hurricane more or less bypassed the west (Kona) side of the island and all we got was a little rain (no high winds). I have my fingers crossed for other islands.
