[Dailydrool] From the Desk

Good morning Merta Lou Fearless Huntress here.
Ahhh nothing like an early morning hunt to get the blood flowing uh ...in
the body, in the body.

It is still dark out but morning if you get that. Personally I do not. Is
it morning or is it dark out? If it is dark how can it be morning since
morning is when the sun is up.  But the ShePerson insists it is morning so
ok it's morning but it is still dark out, she cannot argue that.
And I wanted out. I had been in my den since 9:30 or 10 last night and was
ready for my morning ablutions and a nice pre-breakfast nap on the bed. So
I communicated that and yet she did not open the den door but insisted that
because there had been a black and white kitty in the front yard just an
hour earlier she had to check the back.

Well I am here to tell you she did a sh......a terrible job. She goes out
ahead of us with her big flashlight that would brain a cougar if she
clipped it on the headbone, and shines it around the edge of the yard,
along the fence, by the sheds, past the pond and the bird feeders and
through the garden to be sure there are no bears or tigers are out there
but you may see what a lousy job she does because there was one of the
naked-tailed kitties in a corner that she missed. But I, intrepid lady
Huntress, I found it and chased it over the fence. So we are safe once
again. Honestly now, what would they do without me?
