One of our Bloodhounds has high liver values. Discovered last April during a yearly blood draw. They’d been creeping up for the past few years so the vet suggested an ultrasound with an Internist. We did that, plus LOTS of other tests the Internist suggested because the ultrasound showed her liver looked fine. All of the tests came back as normal. She was and still is asymptomatic. We decided against the liver biopsy because of that reason. Why go looking for trouble? I started her on Milk Thistle supplement from HerbSmith which is supposed to help support the liver. Something you might want to look into.
