Well, that was rude.
Last night The Mother spent ages grooming me and fussing me so that I would look completely fabulous when I met this Fiona person. Then this morning at 8.30 ON A SUNDAY, the charity called to say Fiona has a bad leg and can't meet me today.
Bad leg. Hmph.
