[Dailydrool] O those Pills

I laughed not at your struggle to get pills past one of the best noses in
the business, but because when I was working at the animal Hospital and had
to close up, sometimes I would find two or three pills on the floor in the
lobby, right at the doors-- pills that dogs had spit out on their way
home...
For years I wrapped pills in a dab of cat food - it is very stinky and dogs
love it but when it came to Bassets and other nose breeds I often just
crammed the pills down their throats to be sure they got them.
At home my Belgian eats pills in his food dish but ML will leave a clean
dish with the pill sitting white and pretty alone at the bottom.
For those who tend to snap shut on your fingers there is a "pill gun" made
that delivers pretty well unless the pill has been slobbered on and then it
sticks to the gun.(The pill does. Slobber does too but I meant the pill
sticks.)
