When Bobo the Inhaler went to the Bridge, Scout, his Lab assistant, grieved intensely over the constant companion since she'd known was a puppy. She seemed to take comfort in objects that had his odor on them. She wanted to lie on his bed or have his blanket on her bed. After a while, she accepted that he was gone, but she really did go through a period of wanting Bobo-reminders nearby.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Sprite, Sally. Comforting drool is being slung your way by the Leader pack and the Leader Bridge Brigade.
