Hi all dale Hereera 

Lots and lots and lots and lots of experience with this.  Have had positive results.  Spoke with sandy Gaston when things got bad once and she was able to fix that but mostly I’ve been able to over come terror in dogs

First thing I teach is watch.  Watch me holding pastrami usually.   I shout watch me and the dog immediately looks at my eyes, next to which I am holding pastrami.  Then when we go walking if I see any thing coming, be it man or beast I’ll take the dog off the path and have them watch me while feeding them copious treats and telling them how good/brave/smart they are.   

I’ve been doing this with Chomper and so long as I see the whatever first he is fine. He can even just walk right on by now, on the same path.  

It’s a progressions from terror to allowing you to be their protector to trusting you to ... oh what is that does it want to play does it have a treat oh!  Which will come one day when you least expect it
