We had a basset that had a hot spot on his hip & nothing worked. After trying many different meds & salves our vet said to try mixing equal parts of solarcane, cortisone cream with aloe & neosporin and apply it generously to the hot spot several times a day. It worked & within a few days it was completely gone!
