[Dailydrool] Blanca

Well, my sweet Blanca has caused the cage to  be brought up  from the basement.  Lately she has been grabbing items and chewing them, even when we are home.  When we first got  her she behaved really well, but as she settled in, she started to take and chew things at times when we left her home alone.  We then caged her for a while and she seemed to stop, especially if I gave her a treat and a talk.  Now she takes things even when I give her a treat and a talk before we leave.  Now if she  is left alone but we are there, maybe upstairs  or in the basement she will steal something and chew it, be it a pen or container lid.  One day she even pulled down a place mat that had my coffee carafe on it and spilled it all over the kitchen floor that my wife had to clean up.  So now she will be again crated when we are gone.  I seem to  be the reason she  does it, as she will do it only if I am not around.  She's a smart hound, so I hope she will get the idea that if  she leaves things alone, the crate will go.
