We lost our Maggie very suddenly last week. Turns out she had a heart
tumor. She went downhill very quickly. Here's what Seth wrote for the
memorial page:

Maggie was found on the streets of Baja, Mexico, and was flown up to a
rescue in Oregon, where we found her on Petfinder and adopted her on the
spot. That was 11/10/2012. Maggie was one of the sweetest dogs you could
ever hope to meet, she loved all the other animals in the house and
everyone she met. Some of her more endearing habits would be to dance
around in circles when it was dinner time, and she would give you a loving
nibble on your nose to show you how she felt about you. Being small, she
almost won the limbo contest a few times at the Oregon Basset Hound Games.
We lost her to sudden heart failure October 31, 2019. 7 years was way too
short of a time with this wonderful dog. We will always miss her.
