[Dailydrool] NICK'S ADVENTURES - Hunting Down Friends

Hi Everybody - Nick Here!

 

Last night my cousin Morey and I had a really exciting adventure.  It was a
nice summer evening, so Morey and I were laying outside on our lounge
chairs.  Mom and dad are so nice to us that we even have an outside couch
and two chairs we can lay in.  Pretty soon it got dark and Morey and I
decided to go exploring in our yard to see if there was anything to play
with in the dark.

 

Well, we found two new playmates.  The first one wasn't much fun --- it was
a dumb old toad that we had scared into a corner of the porch.  It was
trying to hide in the cement but we still found it!  I would push it with my
nose and it would hop a little.  Morey didn't like to play with it because
it wouldn't play back.   The other playmate was a lot more fun . it was a
furry little thing about 3 inches long that moved really slow!  We would
bark at it and push it with our noses and it would squeak and walk.  Just
like a fuzzy toy!!

 

Morey and I were having a good time playing with our furry friend but we
kept barking and barking.  Dad made us come in the house.  Then mom came
downstairs and let Morey and me out again.  She stood at the door to watch
us  and we showed her what we were barking at.  Mom made us come back in and
Dad went outside.  I think Dad took our friend for a walk or something
because when we went back out, it was gone.  I hope he comes back tonight to
play again!
