[Dailydrool] NICK'S ADVENTURES - The Big Digger

Hi Everybody - Nick Here!

 

WOW . did I have an exciting day yesterday!  I had just finished my
breakfast and this BIG noisy truck came into my yard.  It had a HUGE digger
on the back.  Dad said it was to dig holes for bad bassets.  Mom told us not
to worry, since we don't have any bad bassets. Uncle Jesse didn't like the
big digger and he barked and barked at it.

 

Anyway, this digger came rumbling into my yard and came right up to my own
personal back yard!  Then the digger made a HUGE hole . about 29834 feet
wide . in my back yard.  I thought . oh, neat . a swimming pool!  But then
the digger went to another part of the yard and dug up a big, beautiful
maple tree about 3465 feet tall.  Very slowly the digger carried the maple
tree to the big hole.  Dad and the men helped the digger put the tree in the
hole!   Viola!  I have a new tree!  I was soooo glad to have a tree again .
that nasty tornado took my two best trees away.  

 

Right after the digger left, another big truck came. This truck had new
fencing on it . I was so excited!   I was going to get my whole back yard
put back together!  These men unloaded the fencing and then dad and Clark
put it up.  By the end of the day, my new fence was up and I had my whole
yard back.

 

I laid in the yard until dark . talking to my new tree and looking at my new
fence.  I am sooo happy!
