[Dailydrool] Tail-less bassets

I know a basset who has lived most of his life without a tail.  Harry was about a year old when he grew a lump which was diagnosed as cancer. His tail was removed and it changed him not one jot. He is an old man now and has managed perfectly well without his tail.
He wriggles the end of his spine when he's happy. That's most of the time.
