I have been meaning to chime in on the Bridge reports from Elder Clara.  The Bridge is a glorious place and keeps all of our hounds busy, busy, busy,  Yes, there is a hat shop, maybe 2 of them. My Pw Miss Pauline loved hats and had many sent to her over a few years so she had one of the hat shops at the Bridge.  No need for a fashion hound to not have everything he or she needs at the Bridge!  I went through some of the archives and it sure brought back memories.  Fur Whooze the Bell Tolls - who doesn’t remember that? Of course we all remember the Big Bone Buffet. There was a casino, the hat shops, Sweet Meats, Love Shack, Drool News, the Bark-O-Lounger Store and the Field of Dreams. The streets are lined with stars.  Oh yes, there is a telescope store so the hounds can check on their families any time they want.  They all live on clouds on Loyal Lane, Toebone Trail, Rainbow Road, Rescue Road, Cuddle Crescent, Snood Landing, Biscuit Boulevard, Top Hat Trail . . . The Bridge is one special moment after another.    These are just some of things I picked up on just reading a few of Debbie’s posts in the archives.   

Here is what she wrote about my Elmo he went to the Bridge in June of 2011 - Debbie definitely had a way with words and I always loved the way she mentioned our ATB hounds and the humans now and then 
To the left---more--come on push harder---not that left--the other one--use both paws--we have to get this done--put your rumpbone into it-push hard!!! It has to fit!!!
Elder Clara gateguard here--whut has not been a slackin on her duties mind you--we have had to make a few adjustments here---and with all the excitement--why getting things in order has been tuff. 
Elmo is here. Elder Clara had to keep him waiting while we did all the "home improvements".
I toddle over and let him in the gate now.
Elmo--come on in--paws off me perch, park right there, I needs to look you over---hmmmm---nice set of hocks there Elmo--snooter straight, eyes shinning, lookie the yippee in that skippy. Nice to have them legs a working again huh???
Got the paperwork I see---Elder Clara checkie it over--make sure all is in order--Fey Fey been in a snort--gotz to keep the old gal happy you know.
Now tail up--the sniff around complete----
Hubba hubba--this one is a looker--why Elder Clara is a thinkin little moment with this one---woo hoo!!!!
Okay Elmo--I see you want a nice fluffy cloud. Elder Clara hab little suprise--see the sweat on me fur coat?? Been working all day to make this happen you see---nice cloud just for you--over on Toebone Trail--yup--1984 Toebone Trail. You will like the neighbors---hehehehe---You have Sister Pauline on one side and Brudder Dudley on the other side. Elder Clara stuff youze cloud right in there--little tight, but we got her done.
Now lets check the buffet---hmmm-----peaches huh??? Georgia Peaches a coming up--got bushels of em. Sliced, diced, chopped, pies, why the whole peach world is on the buffet----Elmo--you is a drooling----
Now you know the deal there hunny bunny--whew--this one has caught Elder Claras eyeball---
Grab the map, take your scooper-and be ready to rock---
What?? You have question??
Now this is a first for Elder Clara--okay--speak--
Telescope time to watch the family?? 
Elmo--of course-we have the cloud to ground vision here--you can watch your family all the time-but remember this--you are always right beside them, in the heart and soul. 
Off he goes----running like the wind---
Nother day done for Elder Clara---I think I will go visit Teddy and Auntie Pat Dill----
The gate is closed, it is time to celebrate all things good------
