[Dailydrool] Dailydrool Digest, Vol 719, Issue 5

Fri Feb 4 13:35:20 PST 2022

I stumbled over the Drool in desperation trying to get some advice on how
to manage my first basset, Daisy's, wild child behavior. In retrospect some
of her crazy antics and energy probably would have served her well in
agility, but hindsight is 20/20, right?

Instead, we got her a friend, Delilah Belle, a shy owner surrender through
Basset rescue via Suzanne Fitch to keep her company. Daisy brought out the
fun in Lilah and in turn, Lilah and she were great activity buddies, doing
the Basset 500 through the house together!

My girls were joined by Dozer, a senior and my heart dog, and Dudley, yet
another wild child. We, too, waddled in Ocean City NJ and the friends I
made virtually and were privileged to meet in "Real Life" through these
amazing creatures were and are priceless!

I LOVED Nigel and Lewis's stories, Brudder Elwood's " liddle stories" and
all the craziness of Turd Hockey.

Though I am currently Basset-less as all of my babies are waiting with the
Dadslave at the Bridge, I live vicariously through all of your fur babies
and their stories!

Big hugs and much love,
Sandi Scranton
Missing Daisy, Delilah, Dozer and Dudley, all ATB
