[Dailydrool] Elsinore...

I do not see a reason that the Vet cannot take a biopsy without debulking
the mass. Needle aspirates are notoriously unreliable because you get such
a tiny sample.

I would want to know what kind of tumor? Is is cancerous? What kind of
cancer? Is it spreading? How does he know he cannot remove it with clean
margins without looking?
They told me they could not get the part of Quiller's tumor that had broken
through the floor of the cranial vault because it was "where he lived" but
the surgeon reached in there and tapped it and it fell out.Not with clean
margins-- there were microscropic bits left which of course made it return,
but it took almost 2 years before it was terminal. They had given him, with
surgery, 4 to6 months.
I just think he is doing everything he knows how to do but I would still
want someone who specializes in cancer to look at it, and I would still
request a biopsy.

It's SO hard to know what to do especially as they get older.
I am absolutely convinced there is something really wrong with Llewis. I do
not like the way he looks, the rattiness of his coat, the constant
vomiting, --- but his attitude is good and happy 95% of the time. He loves
being with Doc, and he will be 8 next month. My heart says he is fine. My
gut tells me something else.
