dogs don't hate, they just don't, they lack that particular emotion but they have fear and while some cower and show it there are others who will force a failure instead.  It's just as cowardly (which dogs inherintly are) but it looks different.  Some people do this too.

What it is ... is pure fear.  A feeling they can't endure for long and so they convince themselves that the outcome is unwinnable anyway and rather than go through the long drawn out process it is faster and least painful to simply force a failure and deal with the outcome.  Some folks see that as hatred in dogs but that's not what it is, what it is .... is something very different.

Oh and by the way they wouldn't force a failure with someone they didn't care anything about because it wouldn't matter to them, the whole fear thing, they wouldn't be so scared and worked up in the first place if they didn't care deeply about the relationship.  It's like the kid who breaks up first because he can't stand to have his girl break up with him.  Over and over.  While we like to think they're very clever and perhaps they are .... yeah ... they do this over and over ...

For what it's worth.

I remain .... the clueless momPerson
